A very opinionated and outspoken mother who stays at home with 5 kids and has an immense love for all things vintage, mid-century, hollywood glamour, and then of course anything odd or creepy. I'm married to a hell of a guy who is one of the few people who knows how to handle me at my worst.

I have had a love of the 40's and 50's since I can remember. My first experiences was probably when my mother started showing me classic Disney movies and watching all the classic black and white movies. I found a love for vintage clothing and thrift stores were my domain. I have continued the love for the fashion of the 40's and 50's but more so the 40's when women were just plain glamorous!

I have definitely passed this on to my kids, and we have also passed on the love for music. My son even expresses interest in learning to play an upright bass. We go to concerts and carshows more then anything else. Someday soon I hope to find a project car that we can work on as a family. My family are a bunch of gearheads, so they can help me out with all the stuff i have seem to forgotten over the years.

My current forte is creating vintage inspired clothing by reusing old clothing with a modern or fun twist for children, and then eventually adults, maternity, etc.

And without my love of art and music, I don't think i could be who I am. i express so much of my life in creative ways, though with children the time seems to be getting increasingly less and less. I got my first tattoo in 2008, and I cannot wait to turn that into a full back piece. Tattoos are something that definitely help describe who we are.
