My name is Christy and I’m a professional makeup artist based out of Hollywood California. I started off doing makeup for my clients when I was a photographer and it became a natural progression for me when I decided to change professions.

My mainstay in the profession so far has been makeup and special effects for Film and Television, but I’ve also been able to crossover into fashion/editorial, commercial print, live shows (fashion, music, awards, etc.), music video, commercials, art photography, and fantasy/character makeup. I’m totally mad about pin up photography and retro fashion and I’m qualified to do hair work as well. People often ask me if I do weddings and special events and the answer is OF COURSE!

Currently I’m looking to collaborate with photographers and models to create some truly stunning imagery. I feel my job as an MUA is to facilitate what the photographer or model is looking for and not to impose my own brand or style, unless asked for. I’m creative, easy going, professional, punctual and even though this is my job, I LOVE doing it!

I hold professional affiliations with most of the major cosmetics companies around the world including MAC, Makeup Forever, MUDD, Kett, Temptu, Bobbi Brown, Stella, Ben Nye and most special effects suppliers just to name a few. I’m also building a sizeable portfolio of photographers and models that I’ve worked with, so if there’s something you need chances are I know where to get it.

I found the site by going to a google and looking up pinup makeup artist.
