My Name is Nikki and I make retro Swimwear..!!!

My Story, the condensed version!

I've been in design since I was 14.. I started making very intricate vintage styled cocktail dresses from the forties in 2003, and then felt it wasn't what I really wanted to do...
What got me in to making swimsuits was I noticed I could NEVER find suits to fit me right.. especially when I was surfing.. plus all the suits BARELY covered your private area or your chest.. You might as well of been wearing band aids!! So for about a year and half or something (2004-2006) I did my research on bathing suits. I talked to friends, both female and male and asked them what they thought was sexy and comfortable too.. ( well to the females.heheh). They all admired the looks of the 40s-50s. They were sexy and left more to the IMAGANATION, catch my drift!! =] And believe me, the males were actually more helpful! .. So then I bring your Bettie"B"Dangerous Swimwear.. I started off with one pieces, and slowly but surely they became a success. NOW in 2009 I've changed it up..I've made 2pcs and still some 1 pcs, and started using more prints and shapes, etc.. So every season I'm going to change it up, so your not stuck with JUST cherry swim suits, or lepoard..
