I must say that I do not wear red lipstick everyday, rockabilly is not all I listen to, and my closet isnt full of timeless vintage pieces. METAL is and always will be my life, my closet has everything from flowers to studs, and my style changes as much as my mood.

Thank you!! I actually went to Studio Makeup Academy in Hollywood (on the Sunset Gower studios lot) 3 weeks for beauty, 3 weeks for special effects, I don't remember the price but it was a lot less then some places. Might have been $5,000 total after everything (including makeup kit) The teacher is great and classes are small so you get one on one help. Also, they teach you what to do after you finish you school to get a career going. Hope this helps!

I've done a fair amount of work, I just haven't been focusing on it for the past couple years. Once you learn the techniques, it's really up to you to find the jobs. After school I took a couple regular jobs at a Glamour Shots and a makeup counter to keep up the regular practice which also provided lots of good challenges working on people of different age, skin type, and temperament. That helped me a lot in between freelance work. Definitely take a tour of the schools you're considering and get all the info before making your decision. Good luck with it! :)

Yup I actually got lucky and my daughter is with her dad that weekend so I definitely plan on making it out. Is hard to make it to some of these events .... mainly bad bones on Thursdays you would think they would want to do it on a day were the suzie homemakers n 8-5ers can kick back and have a hoppin good time. So if you make it I'll see ya there.

Wish I still had it! The elastic in the halter straps started to turn yellow, I think I washed it one to many times And at least you have the guts to model. I've been playing with the idea for about 3 years know I actually have the connections and I think I'm freezing up On a more hoppin note got to visit my dad in vacaville along with a dear friend if you do find a sitter for your lil man I'm sure you will meet her she just moved back to vacaville from Santa Cruz. Seems like that night is going to be a girls night out or at least for my friends and I. I understand not wanting to bring your son as much as they make any event seem like family night their are always a couple of rudlings that make me think twice! My friends up here are starting a crafting club/business should be interesting. Ha this is getting extra long so hope the rest of your week goes by peachy! ttyl

Sounds like fun! The hubby and I have our kids this weekend so we usually do stuff with them lol and his older two 14 and 15 just told us last week there to old for bike rides! LAME so mainly the only time we or I can get out is the 2nd and 4th weekends ( got to love the family court system JK) Thank god we have full custody! O and did you hear about the charity car show in napa on the same day from 1pm-5pm? I guess we are going there first.
