he gave me sheets of glass to practice on, so i could put prints of straight lines underneath and just clean off the glass when i'm done. i find it to be relaxing and not too far off from liquid eyeliner!!! the worst part was maintaining good consistency on the palate because it was hot in my kitchen so it got thin quickly. i don't get to practice much because i like to dedicate a full hour at least when i do, and i heard you have to be really consistent to maintain any skills you might develop. you are definitely a mentor though and i look forward to the day i might do some actual creative stuff!!! painting curves seems like a distant future to me ha!
