Hi dear :-D i am getting the outline for a pair of sphinxes on my hip bones, and some touch up work on my right wing and, if there's enough time and energy left over, some outlining for a black Lilly/orchid/lotus piece on my shoulder. I am also having the gems in my dermal anchors switched out. Oooo a back piece, i love playing with back piece designs because you have so much room to work with. Whatcha been designing so far? How big or detailed were you thinking of going?

Well thank you hun :-D I am also getting some blue, black light ink in them so they will glow.

I suppose thats the trouble with back pieces, so much room to work with that its hard to decide on a design. Hmmmm, let me think on it for a lil while and ill get back to you with some ideas. What kinda stuff are you into? what kind of art do you like? Off the top of my head when i think big and colorful, with room to grow, and somewhat traditional; maybe a graveyard scene with some rockin' pinup zombies.........

Im pretty picky about ink too so i hear ya! i used to work at a shop, briefly, and i think one of the artist i know said it best: "Good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. If your gonna get a permanent piece of artwork on your body, you better make damn sure its worth it, cause I sure as hell don't wanna here you whine about it later."

Hi hun ;-) im glad you had a nice weekend. Sadly, I haven't been to Vegas, yet. Its on my 'To Do' list though, lol. My sister got married there and she said it was amazing so i would love to go. Im sure you'll have a blast :-D Make sure to bring a camera. Will this be the first time you've been to the states?

I have to say, Joe (my artist) has done an amazing job so far and i cant wait to have them finished. They aren't traditional Egyptian sphinxes though. There's a kids movie from the 1980's called 'The Never Ending Story' and in the movie there are two sphinx-like creatures/statues (oricles). My sphinxes look more like them. The heart was a last minute addition. Joe remembered that I had said I wanted it awhile ago so he threw it on when we were done. He took lots of pictures so i'll post them up when he gets them to me.

Im so bummed that I left my sketch book at the shop. As soon as i get it back i will mail you my ideas. I wish i could remember off my head what I wrote but oh well. Its good to be lazy sometimes, otherwise you go loopy. I rarely get to be lazy so i look forward to it and take advantage of it when i get the chance.

This week is going to be very busy for me. I do photography and makeup independently, and I have three photo shoots this week. Im also in the process of moving into and decorating my new place so when im not shooting or preparing i'll be working on that. Its the silliest thing to say but, im excited for my bathroom. Its going to have checkerboard walls and beautiful pinup girls everywhere :-D How about you dear, what's going on with you this week?

Hi hun, my week is going great! How about yours? What have you been up to? Working hard as always lol, but i took a break last night, from decoration and planning, to play with my friend's new Siberian husky puppy :-D

Unpacking and decorating always seems as though it will take forever before your completely finished. How do you like your new place? I love checkerboard everything! Its a weird little borderline obsession of mine, haha, but if it exists in checkerboard i've got it lol. Everybody here thinks im ridiculous for getting excited over a bathroom, but im cool with that because my bathroom will be better than theirs lol :-p

Aw thats so awesome that not only do you know the movie but you love it as well! You just gained + 100,000 cool points lol ;-D See, im excited by the littlest things. Falkor the luck dragon was my favorite. Im hoping that the blacklight ink will make my oracles glow like in the movie. 'The Labyrinth" is one of my all time favorite movies! Bowie was so great in that role. I liked Ludo and the creatures that take off their heads :-p. Im such a sucker for all of those movies from back then. Agreed, 80's and 90's movies is where its at. Special effects just seemed better, in my opinion, because someone put time, effort, sweat, and imagination into building and creating them instead of just using computer animation for everything. Not to mention most of the writing was a lil better too.

Sounds like you've been to some great places here. I've never been to NYC or New Orleans but i would really like to someday. Did you like it there? I love California. I spent some time there as a kid and i really want to go back. You are correct sir, I live and work a few blocks away from the lake. i live in a small part of town, 5min south of downtown, & i really like it there. Everything is within walking distance and there are several really gorgeous parks right on the lake. It gets absolutely beautiful in the summer but the winter can be kind of brutal. A few years ago it was 20 degrees below zero and no one could leave their homes because it was too dangerous. Does it ever get that bad in your part of the world? If you ever make it up this way in your travels let me know :-) I work for a hotel too, & i can get you a room for super cheap ;-)

Hey, hey its not an obsession yet, lol, just borderline. I cant help how much cooler things are when they come in checkerboard. I like the classy simplicity of monochromatic tones. I'll defiantly post up pics of my lovely bathroom when its done ;-D

White is way too plain. i couldn't live with out a bit of color :-) Shopping for all the home stuff can be more tiring than fun sometimes.

Ooooo Mardi Gras, awesome! Jazz and bourbon just earned you + 180,00 cool points, lol I've heard some bad stuff about NY but id still like to check it out. Im not a pollution fan either.

You're lucky that the weather doesnt get so intense there. Personally, im kind of sick of dealing with winter and snow as tall as i am.

Hey dear, Im glad you had a good time ;-D What did you see/do? I wanna see pictures!!! When is your birthday?

Im pretty good, keeping busy. Did a magazine shoot last week that should be published in December so im excited about that. One of my coworkers got arrested so ive been working a ton of hours this past week and I havent had time to do much. Wow, im pretty boring lol Its all good though because by the end of this week ill have enough money to finish my oracles and start something new :-D

Well thank you hun ;-) they are actually from this past summer. I was waiting on the photographer till now to get me copies. We are supposed to take some more with my new ink soon.
