Old School Pin Up Studio Combines the Talents of Husband and Wife, Lance Wagner and Trixie Lane to Produce Exceptional, Period Accurate, Beautiful Pin Up Photography. Old School Pin Ups is a Unique Full Service Pin Up Studio including Exciting Sets, Extensive Wardrobe, In House Make up and Hair Stylist and Over 30 Years of Professional Photography Experience.
Lance Wagner's first editorial shoot in 1972 at age 16 was of Carol Doda, headline stripper of San Francisco's Famous Condor Club. Confident of a future in photography he endured 8 years of college surfacing with a couple degrees in photography. In his apprenticeship period he worked for many of the top photographers of Los Angeles, New York, Paris , London and Japan on shoots for Vogue, Vanity Fair, Glamour, GQ, and Esquire to name a few. His photography clients have included 20th Century Fox, Alex Borstein, Olivia Newton John, Nordstrom, W Magazine, Glamour Magazine, Seattle Mariners, Bill and Melinda Gates, Donna Karan,The Seattle Weekly, Estee Lauder, and most of the burlesque performers in the Northwest. Lance may not have an abundance of skills but give him a camera and he'll find beauty like the kid in Deliverance can pluck a banjo.
In addition to being an exceptional make up artist and stylist Trixie Lane performs Cabaret & Burlesque. She sings torch and lounge songs, She performs generally in and around Seattle. Venues include: Rendezvous Jewel Box Theatre, Asia Art Museum, Conworks, The Crocodile, Thumpers, Catwalk, The Pink Door, Wild Rose and Columbia City Cabaret. The Seattle Times, "The best acts of the night...the buxom Trixie Lane, whose eyes grinned while she slithered out of her black velvet gown with pure abandon".Troupes she has performed with include: The Emerald City All Stars, Red Nail ReVue,The Von Foxies, Cabaret Atomique, Burning Hearts Burlesque and Gun Street Girls and Columbia City Cabaret produced by Tamara The Trapeze Lady. Trixie trained in cosmetics and hair styling has been Lance's stylist for several years for her outstanding talent in period make up and styling. Together they have shot hundreds of Pin Ups of Burlesque stars, Pin Up models, even movie stars. Their studio is situated in a Seattle Washington 1958 kindergarten room designed by Paul Thiry decorated entirely in mid century modern style. clients have a choice of several sets including the oriental bar, the tiki room, the boudoir, the snowy cabin, the starlit room and even a pink fur room.
We are a commercial studio, we do not do TFP or TFCD.
