My compliments in return. I've shown in Belgium to much critical success but very little economic gain. Figurative work is not popular here either. I think because it is hard to make and most artists would rather talk than work. I'm not talking about Pin-up artists. That's a whole different story.

That was odd. When I wrote that comment, i didn't see anything on your page. Anyhow, NOW I see it. And think it's wonderful! Your pieces are so vibrant and beautiful. There's some amazing texture going on as well. What mediums are you working with here? Strictly oil paint?

I just spent the better part of the day in the studio with a couple of young actors doing the set-up work for a love scene. They were precious because they are a couple in real life and they are so in love!

Tonight is very cold & wet...but romantic & cozy too :) The last time I visited Belgium, Brussels was when I was 17! Maybe on day soon...I have family in Europe & do plan to visit, so we'll get in touch.
