Tell us a little about yourself! (details or get declined): i got started as a hair stylist due to my knowledge and passion in pinup, rockabilly, 40's, and 50's hair styles... i love being a hair stylist, and all the photoshoots, and adventures i've been having along the way... i'm a crafty gal too; my hot glue gun is always pluged in, next to my curling iron... i love wiener dogs, and thrift stores....

Have you ever been to Long Beach,WA? There is a weird "curiosity" museum that has a mummified half man half alligator named Jake the Alligator Man. August 8th is his 75th birthday party which features a car show, burlesque, pinup contest (Bride of Jake), live bands and a drive in movie! Bride of Jake contestants are to dress as movie monsters, circus side show, freak show...etc. and will win a marriage certificate, photo shoot with fellow PL member Ric Merry, and big basket of goodies!...and pics with Jake. Dottie Diamond, another girl and I will have a photo shoot with Jake before the contest. Dottie will be the MC and will sing! It's going to be a lot of fun! Wish you could be there!

LOL! It's gonna be a blast! Thanks for the support! I really do want to win this... I already have top secret plans with the Ric Merry photoshoot which include D.A. Sebasstain. ;) hehehe ...plus I can totally get my Mom off my back about getting married! or if some yucky guys tries to hit on me I can tell him I'm married and not be lying! LOL!

Good luck with the 80's event.... man if I only still had my curling iron that could change from square to triangle to flat iron with stars..... remember those...LOL! Square curls...gotta love em!

I have a 1954 Belair with a pink laced top. I also have a 1964 Belair that I've been driving since I was 16. We just bought my husband a 54 pontiac and a 56 pontiac hehehehe we're kind of car junkies... we've sold a 68 firebird and a 63 cadillac and now we're looking for a 50's hearse. I love car kulture it's awesome and your pics are way cute!!!

Right now, I am working freelance. I design pretty much anything. My main projects right now are a wedding dress & maid of honor dress for a wedding in November and I am pulling together a collection of 50's inspired career wear.

I really like your flowers on Etsy. I think Etsy.com is my next favorite website, right after PL.

I just started a 2 year part time program at VCC for fashion design, theres a fashion show on the 30th for the grads of last year, Im stoked to go because it's a sample of what the school will teach us. I can't wait for second year because we get tought how to make corsets. EEEEE

It's my favorite dress. :) I haven't seen a Hudson in person before and I came across that in the junkyard and about fainted from delight. It's a crying shame to see such a wonderful car rotting away in a forgotten corner.
