Just a Fan, Model
Tell us a little about yourself! (details or get declined)
I'm a Manchester based model, mostly interested in classic retro pin up work. I love 50s Rock 'n' roll music and this is reflected in the way I dress and conduct myself, and will be reflected in my modelling. I am interested in other areas of modelling such as alternative and boudoir, I'm also open to creative ideas from togs however I do not pose topless or nude, sometimes will consider implied topless.
I have 6 tattoo's, 4 of which are large and I have a few piercings which can be removed for shoots.

I've seen your new photos and read the associated thread on Purestorm. All I have to say regarding the comments is that not everyone is particularly clued up as to what pin up is about. It doesnt have to be flawless and artificial so please dont allow people to dent your enthusiasm. Having looked at the portfolios of some of those that commented, I wouldnt call them 'experts' on the subject.
You've started well and should continue to improve as you gain more experience. xx
One of the very best 40s style models around at the moment is Fleur de Guerre, take a look at her style and poise here: http://www.fleurdeguerre.com/galleries.htm
Try to make use of the many props laying around but in a natural way. Avoid standing like a cardboard cut out. Think of the emotions associated with being at a station back then, such as weeping into a hankie as your partner goes off to war, joy at his return, anticipation, waving off family etc.
Oh, and I dont mind you being cheeky! Another thing be careful about 'bumping' threads elsewhere. The mods get stroppy.
