I'm a newly launched one woman DIY business, specializing in Vintage Reproduction clothing from the 1930s-early 1960s for both pin-up queens and their crazy cat boyfriends.

I make everything by hand in my little studio, sewing machine on one side of me, monstrous stack of fabric, patterns and source books on the other.

Retro-Fitted combines my love of Vintage clothing with my love of sewing. RF started in earnest two years ago when I began doing custom pieces for close friends who couldn't find what they were looking for anywhere else.

I specialize in limited editions, one-offs and hard to find designs. My etsy.com site is newly launched.

    HI RF! No, I was never based out of Austin but I have visited there- it's a truly great town. I was in LA for 12 years before I moved to Bali. Before that NYC before the SF and before that I grew up in Boise Idaho where I had to sew in order to have interesting stuff to wear. I have been sewing since... 1966, and have been a fanatic ever since I started. SEW we have a lot in common.

    Bali is an artsy-craftsy person's paradise besides for sure being the in the top five exotica capitals of the world! I can not only sew the fabric, I can print the fabric. i can not only print the fabric I can WEAVE the fabric- and I do! I have buttons carved from mother of pearl. You can't imagine. You'd love it!
