    But it used to be scary down there. I worked in a few of the steel shops in that area. It was tough after dark...
    The only tough guy I ran into there the last time I was in your hood was the kid that punked me in front of PF Changs for my complimentary crayons! :)

    I loved the Gilman!
    When I was a wee little lad, we used to spend many a weekend in the parking lot... drinking and skating and goofing off before the show.
    Op Ivy, Rancid, Dance Hall Crashers, The HellBillys... I saw some great shows there.
    A lot of my high-school buddies got their start there, now they're all big and famous.
    Good thing my band never played there... or I would have missed out on this awesome job at the Chevron refinery!!! : )
    Man... it takes me back, Kiddo!
