Anyway, I am not by any means a professional show hula hooper, so I can't give you technical pointers....I have just always been able to hula hoop really well...and ususally my stage is my backyard at a bbq. I guess you can say it's my "hidden" talent. :). I would say just keep practicing, that's all it really takes. Or maybe check your area for hula hoop classes - burlesque schools and stuff.
