Lucia Castano has personally delivered over 100 hours of Live Television from the set of her ground breaking, Hollywood based station KSFV-27. There she hosted a family television show where she was given a segment called "Personality of the week." She had the privilege to interview many successful personalities, within the community like United States Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez, Vice Governor of California Cruz Bustamante, United States Treasurer Rosario Marin and many more. By then Lucia started to Co-produce the television show earning her credits. Lucia was working very well, putting much persistence in her work as a journalist, then she was invited to the Country of Dominican Republic where she met the President of Dominican Republic Leonel Antonio Fernandez Reyna. This was when Lucia knew in her heart that journalism will be her future. A few months later, she was invited to the Inauguration Ball for former President George W. Bush in Washington D.C. in 2000. Moments later she flew out to Mexico City to cover the Inauguration for the President of the Republic Vicente Fox. This was very natural for Lucia being at such a young age. It all began at a local Beauty Pageant where she was spotted by the cast of the Production Company. The combination of her beauty, charm and quick wit made her a natural on stage. With little credits or experience to her name, she was literally hired off the streets by Make Magic Productions. Her experience grew as the facility expanded. As an Entertainment Reporter and Producer for the entertainment world which features from Music Videos, news, gossip and interviews with artist, Lucia has interviewed celebrities like the Legendary Queen of Salsa Celia Cruz, Tito Puente, Joan Sebastian, Jimmy Smiths, Andy Garcia, Guillermo del Toro, Demi Moore and Steven Tyler just to name a few. Lucia is wonderful with celebrities and always brings a nice mixture of playfulness, confidence and intelligence to her interviews. While Lucia's schedule is hectic to say the least, she always makes time to work with several charities involving children and the elderly. She also hosts benefits, fundraisers and events which target and support the Latino Community. As a pride Latino descent she was determined to participate in the Miss California Pageant and won the title in the year 2002. Her personal dedication has carried over into her work, which is apparent by her quickly rising career
