Do you ever enter your stuff in the Seattle Erotic Art Festival? If I can bust something a little more risque out in time for the deadline end of month I will be entering again this year I think. It's at the Seattle Center this year I think.

Yes, they definitely like the very alterno stuff which is farther than what I usually do (2 young kids at home and can't show that stuff on my site and still be able to use Microsoft webhosting or Paypal services) BUT I have shown there in the past a couple times and they really love funny or tongue in cheek classic pin-ups as well. If the outfits are latex or rubber or some kind of fetish can be hinted at that helps too. It's a fun event and I always sold my work that was accepted if it was priced more modestly (not a big market for expensive pinup work here, gotta go to Vegas, NY or LA). I've heard the store is a really good way to sell prints as well and hope I have time to send some this year.

So sorry for the drop out on response! I'm slammed with 3 deadlines at once and a pile of emails and just missed the last one from you until this morning when I was going through mail! To answer your question, prints all the way baby. ;-) Not a big money market for originals at the SEAF in my experience but plenty of people who want some nudie art for their pads at a more reasonable price. Hope that helps, don't think I will have time to make a painting for SEAF this year :-( unfortunately. Got some deadlines moved up on me and cash thrown my way to make up for it so gotta do it...sigh. I had such a nice dirty picture I was going to paint too...maybe will still get to it for the Erotic Signature book deadline in Feb though.
