Basically, i'm a frustrated artist who really needs to get back into the studio! :-)

I live on a little island in the Pacific... just spitting distance from Vancouver, BC, Canada. I'm pretty reclusive so i do love my moat! But i love to venture into the city once in a while to have fun! Life is about fun, i say!

I'm very much into kitsch & Tiki Culture. I love Tiki, Pinup & Lowbrow art and plan to start creating once i get my studio up and running again! We've been in the process of building a house for the last couple of years, so... looking forward to having running water and a real toilet (not a bucket) again... maybe next year *crosses fingers* Hehe.

Anyway, this looks like a fun group. Just my style! That's hard to find, because i am a bit quirky! :-P

Art, painting (mostly using acrylics), Pop Culture, Classic Pinup Girls, collecting, Tiki culture, all things Tiki (including Tiki mugs), Hawaiiana, Mid-century modern, space age, kitschy things, Lowbrow art, Dia de los Muertos, mosaics, folk art, toy robots, ray guns, djembe drumming, singing, primitive art, antique halloween, woodworking, carving, plasma cutters (ooooo, sparks!), hiking, backpacking, kayaking, Impressionist art, tattoos, Liddle Kiddles (those little dolls from the 60's), Cthulhu, Abstract art, Frida Kahlo... just to name a few.

I am a naturist and a friend recommended skinbook here on Ning.com. So, looking through other networks, i came across the perfect network to get my arse into gear and get painting again! :-)
