My shows are inspired by a veritable roll call of beautiful women; from the glamour of history’s most celebrated courtesans, the grace of fan dancing stars Sally Rand and Faith Bacon to the buoyant appeal of that pin-up model extraordinaire Betty Page. Incidentally the name Gwendoline Lamour is a mixture John Willie’s cartoon heroine Gwendoline, Hollywood actress Dorothy Lamour and the happy fact that G. Lamour spells ... glamour!

Gwendoline Lamour has been performing internationally for 8 glamorous years with clientele including Elton John (White Tie and Tiara Ball), Cirque du Soleil for Naomi Campbell (Cannes), New York Fashion Week, Diesel (Berlin), Jasper Conran, and the Marquis of Bath at Longleat House amongst a host of others. Gwendoline has appeared on numerous TV and radio shows including The Culture Show, This Morning, Woman's Hour and MTV and is a recognized authority of burlesque having recently been commissioned to write a book on the art form and is presently working with New London Films on a major new series on burlesque for Channel 4.
