Where to start? Beyond beginning my crazy dream to be a Pin-Up Model and Burlesque Performer and producer, I am also a Mother, Business Owner, Bellydance Performer/Instructor, Costume Designer and Absinthe Lover.

I got into this fantastic world of cheesecake and rockabilly in 2007, when my hubby and I opened a fun little store called Cherry Redd. Our inspiration for the store was my life-long love of Bettie Page and all those classy beauties of pin-up.

In February 2008, our store hosted the fabulous Go-Go Amy for a weekend class/photoshoot on how to be a pin-up model. Sadly, it wasn’t until the second time we hosted the class, that I finally got up the nerve to say, “Hey, I think I might be able to do this!” And now, I’m hooked!!

It only took a short time from starting pin-up to convert my many years of belly dance into a burlesque performance and I’m not going back! I’ve had the unique privilege of being a guest performer for both the Glam-o-rama Girlie Show and the Pretty Things Peepshow... Now I'm starting my own show, Bergamot Burlesque!

And, of course, I have my hubby, Derek and my daughter, Sydney to thank for their support and encouragement as I step out and embrace what I love!

    Lot's actually. The thing is you can never know if what you like will interests someone else. Here's something. Have you ever read Timothy Findlay? Hes one of our great Canadian authors. A little less known outside of Canada than some. there are a couple of his books I'd give a miss to but most is very good. My favorites are: Famous Last Words, Not Wanted On The Voyage and Pilgrim. The only really weak one was his last.

    Ack! What have you done! It was drinking battery acid that smelled like nyquil. Do peopl actually drink this stuff without a gun at their head? My wife took one sip, I got through half a glass. The memories still haunt me.
