I'm a videographer by day. I recently did some work for a burlesque group and am just discovering how broad and active the community is. I've always loved the retro vibe. Actually, the first award I won was for a corporate training film I did as film noir.
How did you find PL? (Who referred you?, What site was the link on? What keywords did you search?) Be detailed, It helps us advertise and thank people!
Absinthe is simply amazing, but you must like licorice. It's made with wormwood and anise oil. It's best served traditionally, absinthe in the cup with ice water dripped over a sugar cube until it dissolved.
oh hey thanks..
yeah man it is most unpleasant. lots of steroids, antibiotics , and codine.
i've been out of work all week went back today and they sent me home so i am out until monday.
i agree with yer comment about raising our glasses to pay homage to bettie...my husband is irish as well & that is exactly how we have helped usher our lost loved ones to the other side. RIP bettie
I can take it then that your wife is an artist. There really is no tradition to black and white painting. Unlike photograph, film and even video it's never had a black and white history. It's more unusual than one thinks.
This is turning into one of those interesting circular coincidences. My education is as a graphic designer. In fact when I decided to become an artist I took a teaching post in a design department. I'm not all that young but even back then it was one of the few places where you could be exposed to hard core classical drawing training.
My first job out of school was working in the graphic design department of an educational television network. I know a bit about both your worlds.
It's a pact with the devil. A lot of artists would kill for my resume but they wouldn't want my paycheck!
I understand. Its a beautiful place but I am ready to move away and pursue other options. If you do have any suggestions for me - besides adding other photos, I am working on it :) - please let me know!
Ya, sure if i can find one.... thanks!!!
if the thrift shops are open.... it SNOWED SO MUCH OUTSiDE last night, and hasent stopped yet!!!
thank you so much again!!!
I'm so sorry that the Green Fairy doesn't appeal to you! I've never had the brand you tried, but I can't imagine it's much different than my Polish bottle or Le Tourment Verte. Here's to hoping you don't hold it against me!

Hey, I responded to your question about interval training. i was going to respond to you about the new rules of weight training but i'll have to read your question again, i forgot what it was! about using primarily large muscles, that is a good idea, the 5 Factor Fitness guy Harley Pasternak follows the same principle. the other muscles will have to join in support the larger muscles so you don't need to waste time working them on their own. also, when working the larger muscles you keep your heart rate up, leading to more calorie expenditure, more weight loss and more visible muscles.
well that makes a lot of sense if you needed to get out of the house. p90x is actually a harder follow version to p90. it is the toughest workouts ever. its not for beginners!! i was curious if at some point you had tried it. they are really great programs.p90x also comes with a workout picture guide you can take if you want to do it at the gym. but personally i would need someone telling me what to do and motivating me.
Thanks for the welcome, and folio compliments, (note to self, update website Thomas :-0 )
Your work has excellent production values; Wish I'd had you to advise on my few forays into video, (sticking with still from now on)
Just a quick aside,
You might try Absenthe neat, at room temp - just take it slow, and let it more or less evaporate from the palate. Otherwise, a bit harsh for most, (even me, if room temp above 75 ).
Then again, I drink Oban neat during the summer, so...
I'm bringing some Christmas love to my new friends! Don't be a stranger! I really do care if you have new photos or exciting things happening in your life! Drop me a comment from time to time to let me know you're alive and well and I will try to do the same!
Wellllll of course the goal of all of this isn't vanity, it's to be healthy, right? so maybe you should think about that, i'm sure you will see things like your cardio vascular endurance has decreased and maybe your blood pressure (or resting heart rate at minimum) have increased. another thing I would recommend is going to realage.com and entering your info to get an idea of where you are. my real age is 16!
i also need your age and resting heart rate so i can tell you what your target heart rate zones are so that you get the results you want out of your workouts
honestly, i wanted to lose weigh for years and years nad never could do it. one summer someone told me "if you aren't getting the results you want, change something" a very simple statement but i realized i had been working out and working out and nothing ever happened. that summer i lost 30 pounds. i made the decision and that was it.
have you had coffee today? check it again tomorrow when you get up because i don't want to give you the wrong recommendations because a variance from 70 to 90 is a huge difference.
