Here is a pinup girl who defied the stereotype svelte figure and amassed a large following for decades.

She is adorable!  I am so glad I have been seeing her around a lot lately.  Unfortunately there seems to be a shape that it not acknowledged anywhere in the pin up world.  You seem to see the Bettie Page and Marilyn Monroe shapes everywhere and then the "plus sized models" but what about the gals like me...in between.  Short and stout but not plus sized.  Large chest and small hips....just seems like there is no place for my shape in my wonderful vintage world.

How don't you fit Tiki Kitten? You are curvy and gorgeous! I think I have a tough time fitting in because I have the hips but not much waist and definitely not enough chest. I'm not curvy at all, it's hard to put apple shapes in pinup clothing. Even a local retro shop here in Ogden likes only to carter to curvy girls. They do not like dressing skinny girls or those with no shape! It's challenging. So instead of fitting in, I just get behind the camera. Doesn't stop me from buying Bettie Page Clothing (Tatyana) or PuG or H&R London tho. Heheheh
