Keeping in mind that the ballroom will be packed wall to wall with the prior band's crowd. Ugh! If it's as jam-packed as last year (or more, as it sounds like) this will certainly be my final VLV for a good long while. With the showrooms being shut down for capacity reasons last year, I only managed to see ONE live band! What's the point of going?

Hello!

Tickets are always limited, for and capacity reasons. Last year, the tickets were limited to 6,600 and didn't sell out. This year, tickets were limited to 7,200 and they sold out. The car show is a lot larger this time (space) and there are 10,000 tickets available, with a couple thousand already sold, so everyone *should* be good to attend the car show...

I am in the same boat, Wink! My husband and I were talking about it the other day, and we're gonna do something else next year if VLV gets too riduculous. You are right, what's the point? If it's so crowded that you don't get to see any bands, or shop in the vendor area without wanting to kill someone, or enjoy yourself at the car show, I hate to say it but we might be making our annual trip to another event next year. I guess we just have to wait and see what happens. I know that Tom Ingram will do whatever is in the best interests for everyone, so if there are problems this year hopefully he'll find a solution.

I didn't think I would go again after last year, but there were a couple bands on the bill I just had to see. I better get to see them!

The biggest reason to go to Viva, aside from the music is seeing my friends. I just hope I can find them in the mob this year!
