The Orleans 2011 is just about SOLD OUT!

Last week my boyfriend and I decided it was time to book our tickets for Viva along with a hotel room. I enjoyed staying at The Orleans at Viva 13 because of the convenience to access your room at anytime without having to catch a taxi or shuttle.

To our surprise, all the rooms with a king bed, smoking/non smoking, were sold out. I began to panic! My boyfriend suggested that we check out the last resort... we scored a room with two queen beds!

Look into booking soon if you already haven't. It looks like Viva is going to be yet another crazy party in 2011!!

If The Orleans does get full some surrounding casinos/hotels not too far from the Orleans are The Palms, The Gold Coast, The Rio, La Quinta Inn, & Emerald Suites. Thankfully I live about 15-20 minutes away and also thanx for posting this b/c I still need to get tix.

I was at the Palms last year for VLV 13, and the hotel was clean, but a huge disappointmet! Also, I got a tatoo at the Huntington Ink shop in the lobby, only to have it re-done. The 2nd artist who worked on my tat said the guy in the Palms needed to quit and do something else!

Needless to say, I would not recommend the Palms.

if you're going to get ink go to Last Chance Tattoo. it's not too far from The Orleans

good artists, good people, good pricing. your best bet is to stay away from the tattoo shops inside the casinos or on the strip.

oh...try Pair-A-Dice Tattoo...I've gotten a couple of pieces done there. they're located on Sahara Ave. the outside of the shop isn't much too look at. but they've got tons of work for you too look through and the shop is really clean.

When I saw this post I gasped for just a second then realized oh crap that's right....we aren't going! I'm so used to the Viva stress every year, it's kinda nice to do without it for once. Good luck to everyone on the rooms, and keep calling for cancellations.....especially in the last few weeks before Viva. I have known people that have scored rooms at the last minute.

Seems we're set up for Viva. Orleans booked a few weeks ago, VLV ticket booked, passport and camera are ready and booking of the amazingly expensive flights is in it's last steps. :-) Looking forward to see you all at VLV 14.

Thanks sooo much for posting this Bridgette. This is a great reminder to book my hotel now. Does anyone have any suggestions as far as the cleanest and closest? I'm not too worried about the price, but of course would like it to be cheaper. Thanks to anyone that reads this and responds.

As of this afternoon at noon (Mountain time) they were BOOKED! and pushing ppl to the gold coast.... :( I'm on the wait list for the orleans.

and FYI: Cherry Club Photography will be the official event photographers this year so keep an eye out for us during the event shenanigans and book your pinup shoots NOW b/c we have extremly limited space this year. [e-mail]
