How many people going to VLV aren't into rockabilly music? How many of you are going just to see the event or to do photo shoots?

My main objective is the music first, and the people second. There are people I've met years past that I only see at Viva. It's a great party, and I have discovered some of my favorite bands at VLV past years :-)

Like you Kim I go for thw music. Plus I don't know have as many people as you do. Also, I love to go to gamble.
But some of my Non-rab friends have been to viva with me.

I am going for the event and to visit places i have not been and make new friends and hang with old friends. I want to see as much music as possible.

I love the music, but every year I somehow wind up only seeing half the bands that I plan to! Although I usually see more of the bar than I expect to. I wonder if there's a correlation? ;)

Networking with new people/vendors
Meeting PL Members
Buy stuff from vendors
Music
Cars

I'm with you babe! Up here in Toronto rockabilly music is very scarce. My friend Sarah is the singer for The Creepshow and other then them and a few other bands from Toronto, there is no scene here. Sucks!

I contemplated doing a shoot but you're right who has the time?!

After that its shopping, music, and cars..... oh yeah, and because it's VEGAS BABY!

I think meeting people and the car show are my highest priorities, but I love to dance, too. :)

I'm a terrible dancer, but I love to sit on the sidelines and watch the jive couples swing! It's all about the music, though. And the sometimes screamin' deals at the vendor booths. Besides, it's the only time I get to see Sweet Pea and Unkie Fez and Vic from V-Male, not that I get to see MUCH of them. How does such a long weekend always go by so fast?

The dancing is probably also one of the funnest parts for me...nothing like strolling with 200 other girls all at the same time with all the guys standing on the side watching...

Now that I've been dancing every Friday Night, I've gotten to be a better jiver and can't wait to dance with new partners.
