Connecticut Pinup Shoot

Hey, dolls! Just curious, are there any ladies out there who would be interested in doing a shoot in central CT? I would like to organize something with a few talented friends of mine, as there are very few events in our area. My husband and I own a repair shop, so I was thinking a garage theme. Shop would be closed, of course, so no grease monkeys will be gawking. We could do indoor and outdoor, and there are a couple private spots to change or for photos. I have great hair and makeup gals, and a few wonderful photographers I am considering. I would not be looking to make any money for the event, so the cost would be on the low end. I'm just in it for the pics and will only charge what it will cost to cover their expenses. It would likely be a weekend in April or May, and if I get a lot of interest I might even add a second date. Please let me know if you have any interest or feedback. Thanks!

This sounds great! I am not a professional model, but i would love to build my portfolio! If you get enough interest to host this, i would love details. I am about 2 hours away, which isnt too bad of a drive at all for a day of photo shoots and fun :)

Awesome! I'm no professional myself, just looking to build my portfolio and have some fun with awesome people! I will be updating this as soon as I have something solid planned. I'm hoping to be able to plan more events that give us all a chance to get together and look fabulous! I am very open to suggestions as well so let me know if you have any ideas!

Ok ladies, I have set the date for Sunday April 28th, with the possibility of a second date being added if it fills up quickly. Shoot will include all of your unedited digital images, as well as 5 retouched images of your choice, hair and makeup, release so you can submit or reproduce your photos, and 45 minutes of camera time that can be divided between 2 outfits. Snacks and drinks will be provided, and I may even plan a small gathering afterward. Price will be $100 per person. I will be creating an official casting in the next few days with all the details. We are located in central CT close to I-91 and Rte 15. More info soon!

Here is the official Casting Call for the shoot! I was nervous about planning this but I'm so glad I did. I am getting great feedback already and I just finalized everything yesterday! Can't wait to see the smiles on your lovely faces when you see your first photos <3

The set is a garage and we will be getting some vintage cars and possibly a Harley. Hair and makeup will be pinup style. If you want a different look that's fine, just let me know so our MUAH can be prepared. If we have good weather we may do some outdoor shots as well. I am still deciding if I will be building a boudoir set in one of the private areas, it depends if there's high demand for it and how my budget looks. The photographer is a male, but he is a professional and a long-time friend whom I trust and will be respectful and tasteful. If you're feeling frisky and want to sport some lingerie, that's up to you, but no nudity! Our goal is to provide a fun-filled, confidence-boosting day and send you off with some great photos to share with the world. If you have a friend who would like to make their car available for any part of the day, I will give each of you a framed photo of you with their car for free, as well as give them photo credit if they wish. You can chose 2 outfits if you'd like, but only one hairstyle per gal. If you have a specific hairdo in mind, you can send me a pic to pass on to Kristen or just bring one with you when you come. I will update this with deposit info and a schedule once I sort out the final details. If there's a particular time of day that works best for you, please let me know, otherwise I will fill the slots in the order of response. I hope this will be an amazing experience for all of us, and I can't wait to meet you dolls!

If you want a Harley, my fiance has a '79 sportster. He would have no problem bringing it.

Three spots left, ladies! If we fill these quickly, we may add a second date. Once you contact me to confirm you are sending deposit, I will hold your spot for 1 week, unless other arrangements have been made. Final payment of $100 is due the day of the shoot in cash or money order. Sorry, I can't accept a check for your final payment unless I receive it 14 days prior to the shoot.
