I'll admit it, I'm totally addicted to magazines. Glossy pages, fashion trends, and page size adds telling about the newest lipstick on the market, what's not to love?

My modern favs are Allure and Harper's Bazaar. I like the fact that every month it's the exact same format. I can find what I want to read and skip the crap. I also love the interviews they do. More Fergie, yes please! And of course, the fashion!!

My sub-culture favs are Rockabilly Mag, although I wish it was all glossy and no black & white. I love when they do spreads on events. Best way to catch up on and see pics from what I missed half way across the country. And of course Retro Lovely, because how can you not like all that Pretty in one place!

So I'm wondering, what's your favorite magazine? Modern (like Cosmo) or lifestyle related (like Retro Lovely)? One of each maybe? Why? What is it about that mag that keeps you going back every month?

I'm a fan of 'More' for my modern magazine, but I love Milkcow for my rockabilly side. Although, I usually have to wrestle Milkcow away from my dad!
My fave mag is "Psychology Today"...yes, I'm a f*****' nerd. And for some weird reason I like reading trash like Cosmo on my PMS days..too much info? Lols.
I also love rockabilly, punk, psychobilly type mags but I can't get them in Canduh. : ( All I can get is the tattoo and custom car mags at the big bookstores. Oh well...they're not bad. I love loitering and reading half a dozen of 'em! : )
I like different ones for different things. For trends/fashion I like Lucky. For the fact that I think they have interesting ideas and practical tips, I like Real Simple. For cooking/health info I like Eating Well, for lifestyle/entertainment I like InStyle. There used to be a mag that went out of business earlier this year called Domino that I liked and that was home decorating/design.
"Nude" and "Milkcow" magazine. xox
Oh, let's see...I subscribe to Glamour, Marie Claire, Allure, Maxim, and I used to subscribe to Cosmo, but I let it run out. I'm frikkin pissed that Jane and FHM went bust! From time to time, I'll pick up a tattoo mag at 7-11 and think about what could be...
At home I get Java's Bachelor Pad, Rebel Rodz and Car Kulture Deluxe. Every month when I'm getting my color touch up at the salon I gladly scan thru Cosmo, Lucky, Glamour, Vogue and any other fashion mag they have around.
Oh I forgot to say that I am a proud supporter of Pin Curl magazine, however that is a semi annual publication. Our very own NolaChick was featured in that mag.
Vogue, InStyle, Lula, Rockabilly Mag. I currently am enjoying a free 12 issue subscription to Rolling Stone. I miss Atomic Magazine. And of course hair styling magazines for work.
question: what happened to VARLA magazine? it was so killer, and then i bought a copy online and i didnt get the magazine, or my money back.. i contacted rachel varla 3-5 times over a year for my issue, or a different issue, or my money back.... i heard back the first 2 times... then nothing.... lame

magazines is one of my favorite topics!!!
1.)rockabilly mag: Milkcow... its my new favorite!!!! (thanks to PL) authentic rockabilly/pinups.... love love love it!
2.)modern mag: Bust... it is pretty sassy! i like that the content is REAL, and the ad's are good too!

other favs: deadbeat, frulenwunder, rodz, deluxe, rod and kustom, pinup perfection, an occassional man, barracuda, java's, hairdressers journal
BOUND BY INK      and VANITY FAIR.    I jsut got a 25 page profile in issue #5 of Bound by Ink   but thats not why its my  fave. I jsut love the graphics  and the  glossy slickness of it all>
Hot Rod Deluxe, Milkcow (ty PL<3)  and ....Foreign Affairs. I know, it's nerdy...but I like to stay informed. :)
