What are you doing with Your Time?... Are you making it Count???????

Hello everyone, I just wanted to share with you a story of a Magnificent man with the mindset to live. Live his life to the fullest and happy till the day he dies. This is a fabulous story and it's one of inspiration. It's thought provoking and most of all, will shake you inner conscience into thinking..... "What am I doing with my time?" & "Am I making it count." His name is Dr. Randy Pausch and I can proudly say that even though I did not know this man, the vibrations from his words and actions rippled through me like a hot knife through butter. It's had a significant contribution in making me a happier person and made me enjoy every minute I spend on earth. If you have the time, please check it out. The end especially has a great message. My question to you after you watch this is.......In your heart what is one of your dreams that you would like to achieve??? Ill just share with you one of my dreams which is on my 101 goals list of things to do before I die, (which I'm sure alot of girls want) is to model for prominent clothing companies. Another one is to feed the needy every Holiday season and create my own food drive. Give me some of yours. Thanks!!! XOXO Aubrey

every single time I see a video of that man speaking, I bawl my eyes out. He makes you want to be a better person, and I'm proud to say that I live by a lot of his principals. If you're interested (as I wipe away tears) you can check out the website: TheLastLecture.com You can buy his book there, and also the video of his famous "Last Lecture". You can also watch a video of his original Last Lecture. Amazing stuff, really.

Absolutely amazing man. The world is left wanting. ((crying))
I know, isn't he such a great person!!! I actually have his book and watched his whole speech. It was truly amazing and something I am glad I got to see and hear. I simply marvel at the man's principals and what an outstanding legacy he had left for his family and children. I love how we think alike Honey B, I wish you lived closer!!!

Wow, this really got me thinking! Very inspirational! One of my goals right now is to get into the best shape possible before I get pregnant!
I have to disagree on "It's just a thing" I like my things nice and there is a BIG difference between someone spilling a soda on my seats vs. puking because they are sick. A bit of a stretch to make the point but it gets the job done.

Did you wave at the last person that let you cut in traffic? Or that slowed down for you to merge? If not, you're an a******. If so, good karma comes around. This gesture is as detached as you can get from face to face contact, yet it is a gesture so often looked for by kind people. Practice it, then carry on those manners into more up close contact.
You can do it Ellie!!!! It's also best to go into your pregnancy that way, because you'll be used to a fit lifestyle and eating right when the 9 month journey begins.....Good Luck!!!

They are just things, and though you may disagree, you can't take your things with you when you die. I'd rather be remembered as the woman who didn't care if her stuff got messy, but had one hell of a time with her life!

And I always wave to folks while driving. It's usually followed by an odd look, but every so often, someone smiles and waves back. it makes it worth it.

You're right, I can't take them when I'm gone, but while I'm alive I like them to retain or gain value, additionally if I do go, I'd like to pass on some pretty cool stuff in great condition, not stuff that will make people say "WTF IS THIS S***, DO NOT WANT".

Things are in a sense just 'things'. Of course, we tend put value into them because of sentimental value and we want to uphold that value to be in our eyes. So literally it's how you take it into context. I think he was conveying that in the grand scheme of life, that shiny objects aren't as important as relationships and upbringing of our children. Now of, course I wouldn't go spilling soda over my Mac computer just to prove a point but, I think he knew that he could still clean his car afterwards. One thing I learned from his message here is, material objects can never hold the same value as a true loved one and how you make them feel. Because in the end, that is how they will always remember you......How you made them feel.

Dunno about yours, but Macs do have feelings, if you spilled something on one they would cry out loud in pain and baby kittens would suffer terrible deaths...
