Tinted / Self Tanning Lotions

I'm super pale to the point where I don't want to wear skirts or shorts in public - and tanning is out of the question - I burn... every single time, but no color ever stays after the burn.

My question is: what 'tinted'/'self-tanning' lotions do you use or recommend and how to avoid streaks and spots where it gets darker.

Kita, I'm also very pale.  I can't recommend a specific brand, but I've tried self tanners for fair skin, and just on my legs.  One of the things I like about pinup and burlesque is that we can show off our dramatic beautiful pale-ness.  My skin just doesn't tan, and that always made me feel 'bleh' in the summer when bombarded by ads with the tan bikini crowd.  I think once I get my legs in shape, I'm wearing skirts and shorts w/no tan; am tired of feeling 2nd class b/c I'm so light skinned.  On a serious note--stay out of the sun,  wear sunscreen, avoid tanning beds, etc.  A fair-skinned family member died of skin cancer and I take this seriously.

Product is sooo very important Mii dear!!! !! ! It could be a NIGHTMARE with the wrong one. ii am at this point in search of the best product at this time. What ii would promote right now is, airbrush is the way to go. self contained mobile unit that comes to your location or maybe versa spa, only takes a few seconds for h*** body. No mess no drip no streak. Ro ~Me~ Out

I've been spray tanning for years, both in a salon and at home. For at home I really like the Neutrogena Micro Mist spray. It goes on nice and even. My only complaint is that it doesn't get very dark, so it works well if you are very pale, and want a light to med tan. So it would prefect for you!

Taking notes on this one...I am quite literally the palest person I know. Having really dark hair/eyebrows/etc just makes it all the more obvious. My legs can be pretty blinding! I haven't experimented much with self tanners, but I might try that Neutrogena...
