Purrrlesque! is proud to bring to Greensboro, NC  The First Annual Purrrlesque! Follies Showcase Charity Burlesque festival! With burlesque, music, comedy, sideshow, and many other styles of acts giving a performance that the audience will adore and remember. Purrrlesque is assembling this amazing showcase together with a fine crew of kittens, volunteers, and guest talent from all over the East Coast and beyond! It is our pleasure to create this charity Burlesque Festival to benefit Sherri Denese Jackson Foundation for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, Inc. Participating in our fourth Greensboro Fringe Festival  this year (2012) on the gorgeous Triad Upstage Cabaret on February 3rd and 4th with a PRE PARTY Thursday Feb. 2nd at the Blind Tiger.  (BUY TIX HERE) Three nights showcasing the arts finest with performances scheduled in many styles of burlesque each night and workshops too boot! Come one night, or all to see the range of performances! Burlesque has always been an art form that has inspired, empowered, and honored the human form… through the ages it has allowed the performer to tell a tale of comedy, satire, or even oppression with it’s witty puns and sensual slow reveals. This showcase will honor the art and empower the soul!
