Seeking submissions for pinup calendar – plus-size only

Hi all!  I’ve decided I’m going to do a 2013 calendar featuring plumpies and I am looking for submissions.  What is a “plumpie”, you may ask?  A plumpie is a woman who is thick, curvy, big, heavy, and/or plump. 

 

·        What size girl are you looking for?  I am not going to require that you be a specific size; as long as you fit one of the descriptions above, you should fit the requirements.  J

·        What type or style of photos do you want?  Pinup in all its incarnations:  cheesecake, alt, boudoir, implied nude.  Your set can be sexy, girl-next-door, goth, whatever, as long as it has a pinup “feel” to it.

·        Nudity?  Nope, but implied nude is just fine.

·        Do my photos have to be professionally done?  No, but they have to look good and be high-resolution.  If they are done by a professional, please make sure you have the photographer’s permission to submit the photo.  Also, no self-shots please.

·        Can I use a photo off my Facebook/PinupLifestyle/modeling page?  No.  I am looking for original photos that have not been published and are not floating around on the internet.

·        How many photos may I submit?  Up to 3.  They may be different poses from the same set or 3 different sets.

·        How are the photos chosen to be in the calendar?  I will personally choose which photos I want in the calendar.  However, if I receive an overwhelming amount of entries, I may narrow it down to my favorites, then let the peeps of Facebook decide.

·        If I am chosen, can I choose which month I am featured?  You can certainly let me know which month(s) you want and I will take it into consideration.  For example, if you have an awesome Valentine photo and I decide it simply must be in the calendar, it will obviously be February’s photo.

·        What is the deadline to submit?  October 15.

·        What do I get out of this?  If you are chosen, you will get a free calendar.  You will also have the option of buying calendars at cost and selling them for a profit.  (But please don’t sell them for more than I am).

·        When will the calendar be available?  I do not have an exact date yet, but I’m hoping to have it out sometime in November, maybe late October.  Stay tuned.

·        Any other details I should know?  You must be at least 18 years old to submit.  However, there is no age limitation.  If you’re 100 years old, plump and love to flaunt your stuff, by all means submit a photo!  You must also be female (either biological, trans, or very convincing drag).  Please only one person per photo.  Animals are allowed in your photo, but no men or children please.  I will announce the winners sometime before November – exact date to be determined.

 

If y  If you think you have what it takes to be one of Plum Pea Dahl’s Plumpie Dolls, please submit your high-res photo(s) to [e-mail], along with a release form (I will provide link to it later) and a copy of your driver license (to verify age).  Don’t forget to include a short bio in the body of the e-mail.
