New Years Eve!

What's everyone's plans for New Year's Eve?  Any family or cultural traditions?  I'm not sure what we're doing yet as my husband has been dragging his feet on plans....but we will be having black eyed peas!  I'm a southern girl, so black eyed peas is what we'll be eating!!

NYE for my family is to snack a bunch, and then go to bed early.  This year, I will be working from home and then, well, go to bed early.  Not very exciting. 

Richard's family kinda does new years, but it is on a different calendar than what I am used to.  I like the kumquat part, but the cleaning the house thing isn't my favorite.
