Hi, I'm new here.

But I thought this forum might be able to help me out. I have a pretty drastic hourglass....my measurements are 40-25-40, naturally, I'm 5'2, and 145 lbs. I am having a really hard time finding anything to wear, because most things I own make me look fatter because the waist isn't tight enough- so it adds 10+ lbs, and jeans are hellacious to find to wear...I just don't know what to do. I need recommendations on what and where I can buy clothing that I can wear? It can be casual or fancy...but I am on a very very limited budget- so it can't be more than $50. Any suggestions?  Links please :)

I wish I could be more helpful but PL is a good place to start.

I know we started getting my wife's jeans at Target because of a sale and the way they size their jeans

They have different letters for not only sizes, but for body shapes

Here is our Where to Shop guide: http://www.pinuplifestyle.com/forum/topics/where-to-shop. That should help you out a bit. However, my best advice is to learn how to sew. A class will cost you less then $50 and the amount of money you'll save on clothes that don't fit will make it well worth it. With such drastic measurements being able to alter or make your own clothes is a must. Just being able to sew a new seam into the waist will help a lot.

Also, I was at Macy's the other day and Levis is now doing custom fir jeans, you might want to check those out too.
