Makeup artists, rarely are YOU in the spotlight.. THIS is your chance! Show off your best work, from mild to wild. Pull out your favorite products, clean those brushes, and GET CREATIVE!! Keep an open mind and interpret the theme however it best fits YOU.

Special Requirements: Only headshots are permitted this month.

A head shot is a photographic technique where the focus of the photograph is a person's face. A headshot is an image that is more of a 'mug shot', however simple or stylized it might be.

That's so very true, you never know who's going to see your work where. I made a point of mentioning this contest to the costume designer who made the pasties I wore for the shoot. Not only did she come over and vote, she posted a link to the contest on her Facebook page (more exposure for PL) AND replaced the photo she was using to show the pasties in her online shop with one from our set (more exposure for the photographer and for me).
