LIP SERVICE! when using lip products which can i splurge on and which can i get cheap on...

i try not to spend too much money on my lip products, but when i do decide to get something i really want and need to spend money on its usually a good lipstick. i always go for mac lipsticks because of the wide range of colors, and i love doing their recycling program which is 6 glass or plastic empty mac products and you get one free lipstick. all my lipliners i buy in bulk at any little clothing store that sells them for a dollar! there my favorite, and if i lose them i wont be too upset. that goes the same for glosses, because if you need to pump up some color on a lipstick any brand of lipgloss will do.i usually shop for glosses and liners in downtown la because they always have tons of stuff out there...i even get lashes for a dollar each and its the brand that they sell in the mall red cherry! some low priced brands that i have seen that have alot of matte lipsticks are actually jordana...lol. but things like that are best if your filling your kit and need a wide range of lipsticks,are getting stared as a makeup artist, are a photographer and in emergency need to be a makeup artist as well as a photographer, or your not so excited about spending 15 dollars on a lipstick. but its also good when you misplace those inexpensive products because they are easy to replace.

omg gurl you dont understand id die without that color! lol...its the only retro matte that ive been able to find locally!
