I went out last night to a goth party to go dancing. I rarely hit the goth clubs anymore and was excited to put together a new, sexy outfit. Getting dressed I decided nothing but my patent leather, calf high, pointy toed 4 1/4 inch heeled corset laced boots, would do. They're sexy as hell and make me feel sexy as hell. Well, as great as they look, they really are not made for dancing. I dance for hours and had a fantastic time. However, buy the time I was ready to leave, walking was a bit difficult. By the time I got to my apartment, I was hobbling down the hall. And today, the balls of my feet feel as sore as my muscles do when I have a really good workout put in. I have to bartend tonight and that means 8 hours on my feet. Thank god for combat boots!

ouch, if i plan to dance i allways go flat or flatter, but if i plan on sitting/standing around more i go all out in heals. and when i dance i really get down! i might break my heals if i dnace in them!

I usually opt for platforms when I go out dancing. I rarely give up my heels for clubbing outtings but try and find sexy shoes that don't have quite the steep incline.. The boots I wore the other night are usually sitting boots, but it had been so long since I had gone out dancing and so long since I had worn those boots that it seemed like a good idea. I'd like to be able to say that I would end up in more sensible heels next time, but I know myself better then that. Sexy wins out over practicle 9 times out of 10. Next time though, I will purchase a more expensive shoe. Better quality usually ends up being more comfortable.
