The internet access is available, we're not in the stone ages, but there isn't wifi at every corner, and they capitalize on internet usage so where there IS connectivity, you pay for it.

At home we were having a new 4 story building built behind the home which blocked the damn antenna, that sucked leaving me with very slow and sometimes nonexistant shared internet access... here is how I survived =)
