Girls with arm tattoos

I was thinking of getting a pinup on my upper left arm to represent who I want to be, but some people I have talked to say that girls shouldn't have arm tattoos. I hope hoping for some more opinions, what do you guys and dolls think?

When getting a tattoo, you should not be concerned with what other people are going to think. The tattoo is for you for for them!! Some people will always judge you and other people won't. That is how it goes for anything you do. If you are worried about it then maybe it is not the right time for you to make that commitment. I have a half sleeve and it is meaningful to me and that is all that matters! I love it and I do not regret my decision!

i think go for it.tattoos suit everyone aslong as the tattoo is done to high spec so as it could never look bad that way no-one can say a word........ i'll do your tat for you.....

Well for every taste there is a market. Off course there will be some photographers which dont like it but on the other hand there will be other who will because you have them. So do what u wanna do! XPascal

I love my arm tattoo- My only advice is make sure you get something you want to see in the mirror every day. I felt complete once I got mine. I kept getting tattoos that I could cover easily but then realized.. why do I get a tattoo? for someone else? HECK NO! I get it for me so I better be able to see it. I love looking at tattoos, really- I just love looking at good art and now I get to carry it around everywhere I go. I couldnt be happier. People who say girls shouldnt have arm tattoos are just people who dont like tattoos all that much. PS- mine covers up with a nice long 1/2 or 3/4 sleeve. Its perfect. Research your artist well.

I have a quarter sleeve on one of my arms and a big Anchor piece on the other so thats not right that women shouldn't have arm tattoos, i think mine looks pretty good

I think you should do what you want! I have tattoos all up on both of my arms, and I love them.

I have a pinup on my left bicep. I love it, and I get compliments all the time I think the arm is the perfect place for a tattoo, especially for a first tattoo, because it's not too painful compared to other areas of the body, and it can easily be covered or shown on any given day. I've also never heard anyone say girls shouldn't have tattoos on their arms until I read this post just now (though I have heard girls shouldn't have tattoos PERIOD. But that's a whole other level of double standard!), and even so, I wouldn't let that stop you!

I believe everyone should have the freedom to do whatever they want to their body without fear of judgment.

I have tattoos on my arms and I love them. I don't regret them at all. Then again, I work a job that allows me to have tattoos.
