Easy Pin Curls - Spoolies? Suggestions?

So I really hate doing pin curls but I love the results. Has anyone ever used spoolies? Do they produce a similar result? Or do you know of another gadget for lazy girls?

So, I had some time today and I thought I would try these.

Wow! I am really frustrated! I can't get them to stay in my hair! They start to slide down after I put them in. Anyone else experience this or have any tips on how to remedy this problem I am having? They are unusable for me right now. I am not using large sections of hair. But I tried with larger sections and smaller sections and still have the same problem of them sliding down. Maybe I would not have as much of a problem if my hair was dry, but I was hoping to use these on my wet hair.
