debating some ads

I don't really advertise my site at all, except for the couple links I drop here and on myspace & twitter

I was looking at the ad rates in a few places and thought maybe I could afford a couple ads just to see what happened.

Here's my question...
in designing the ad do I stick with my header graphic, which is a copy of my pinup tattoo, or do get a model (or several models) that can recreate that pose and use that?

I'm torn.
The existing graphic is already done so it'd be easy to use that
A pic from a model would look cool, but there is the expense of it
and I can think of a half dozen pinups(at least) I'd love to see in that pose

It's your logo, so it represents the site, no reason not to use it. Or how about a few pics of your fav models in any pose? Just to show a little of what your site has?

I agree with Roxy.
Either go with your original logo or have photos of your favorite girls that you've featured and such.

If that image has become your brand, use it, burn it into the minds of viewers. Combine it with eye candy, nothing gets clicks like a great photo. No amount of text or explaining whats on "the other side"

HOWEVER, One advertiser here on PL ran an only text ad, 1 word on a solid pink background, it had the highest click thru rate of any advertisers yet. If course the company name is mysterious so that adds to wanting to know what is on the other side.

In your case, logo, hot photo, new frame with my favorite pinups, bing bang boom done.
