I'm putting a routine together to "Who Killed The Cheerleader" by The Nekromantix.
I'll be using a vintage cheerleading uniform from the 60's, which means it's a sweater top and poses as a problem when it comes to the process of taking it off.
I was thinking of just simply installing a discreet zipper, having it run all the way from top to bottom in the back, but figured I'd post this and see if anyone else could come up with a better option before carrying out this idea.

Here's what the uniform looks like, by the way!
These were from my after school special themed appearance at Dr. Sketchy's last year. =0]

I think the zipper idea is a good one. It's easy to do, and easy to take off.
I'm pretty new at this, so I'm just pulling this put of my... well, you know. What about snaps or velcro? Might be easier to remove than tugging on a zipper.

Ya know, the velcro idea actually occurred to me the other day as well. I've used velcro for costuming before, but had major difficulties with it. I'll look into it again, though, and see if I can maybe find a different type of velcro than what I'd used before. The stuff I had, had an adhesive that didn't work, so instead, I decided to sew on the velcro which ended up gunking up my machine. >./body>
Handsew it? And do little pieces instead of velcro-ing the entire length of it? That's all I can think of. I didn't think about machine gunk- ugh!
