I'm a photog in the east end of Toronto. I haven't shot burlesque yet, but I would love to give it a go.

This is awesome. I was already planning the same type of set since the film's release but have been getting sidetracked. I guess this will be the push I need.

I dunno if this has been brought up and poo-pooed already or if I'm the only curious one around here, bu is there any way we can find out who came in 2nd and possibly 3rd place in these contests?

I vote all the time and a few times the winners have been girls I voted for, and other times they're not, but I'm always curious if any of the girls I did vote for came close to pulling off the win. I also think that if a girl finds out she came uber-close to winning, that'd give her more confidence to enter the next photo contest.

 

If it'd get messy like high school (or if it means a fuckton of more work for either of you), forget it!! Just a thought.

I submitted my photo & rcvd a email saying it was rcvd but can't find my photo anywhere online...

Your submission was received and it went under review for meeting the criteria for the contest, Since burlesque is in fact an act on stage, it didn't help to have your backdrop post showing. However after further review and discussion we feel your props support the theme and qualified the entry, good luck and thank you for your patience.

I see what you are saying - I actually have one that isn't like that & that is the one I THOUGHT I had posted....so sorry about that....I'll pay more attention to which picture is being uploaded next time around
