Building a professional portfolio (modeling)

Hello all!

 

I was wondering, what types of photos should be included in a professional modeling portfolio? I am interested in building one, and I would love for any of you knowledgeable ladies or gents to demystify it for me.

 

Is it just your best photos? should you show variety? should there be a theme?... These are questions I've wanted to ask, but never had a forum like this to ask in.

Exploremodeling.com is a great resource. Unlike most so-called "modeling" site, this site is runned by Cristina DeHart who is a highly experienced working model.
