I have made a few blog post about some books I'm really into, and I could post thousands of more blogs about books. I love reading and I'm open to any suggestions.

I posted blogs on The Real Bettie Page by Richard Foster and Modern Vixens: World of Winkytiki by Octavio Arizala. I would also recommend any book by Jim Silke. He has produced books such as Bettie Page: Queen of Hearts, Bettie Page Rules, and Pin-up: The Illegitimate Art. The photos and the art of Bettie Page and other smokin pin-ups are well worth it, let alone the valuable insight and information he gives.

oooh, ive read some great books latley, try out garden spells and sugar queen by sarah addison allen, i love them. i think part of the reason i love them , is that she is from and writes about my home state of NC, and the mountains i love so much there. i also read the twilight saga, i know, its for teens and im not exactly a teen anymore, but damn it. i got the first book free from a neighbor and was hooked! i mean it, hooked. sucked in to a vampire romance. like ive never been sucked into vampite romaces before though. im a "sucker"(giggles) for vampires.
I am currently reading The Sword Of Truth Series By Terry Goodkind. It's an 11 book series, and I am on book 5 - The Faith Of The Fallen. My boyfriend actually got me hooked on the series, and it has worked it's way up into my top 3 book series of all time. The story can get a little dark at times, but his writing style is amazing.
I recently bought the book P.S. I Love You. I'm ridiculously obsessed with the movie and if you haven't seen it I recommend you do...if you like romantic chick flicks...and handsome Irish men. ANYWAYS...I hope the book is just as good.
Right now I'm reading Watchmen as I'm getting prepared for the movie!
just read heart of darkness (joseph conrad) about the colonisation in kongo. a cruel but great story based on the history. started on a new book yesterday, also about colonisation and the history of racism. really hard books but i think everyone have to read about it.
I'm re-reading the Arthur Miller play The Crucible. I thought it was appropiate for Halloween. I love to learn about the past. The Salem Witch Trials are such an important part of history. And the movie starring Winona Ryder is very good too. They are both among my favorites!
I REALLY enjoy all the Harry Potter books, Anne Rice and Laurell K Hamilton!
just finished the Twilight series...I only likeed the 1st book out of the four. Now reading Hard Case Crime novels
i love those books. i only read the first three though

I'm reading The Shining.
I joined a book club and we decided to read it since it's october.
unfortunately i really dislike stephen king.
I've been really reading some heavies lately.

The Omnivore's Dilemma and Skinny B**** have helped me to be more compassionate about living creatures and eating them and animal by-products. I've revised my diet accordingly.

Also, during recent thrifting, I found a book from 1953 titled Legal Medicine: Pathology and Toxicology that satiates my morbid curiosity of death and autopsies and that sort of thing. Recovering goth, indeed. The pictures and descriptions are unreal and the book was a hit at my housewarming party!

For general life motivations, I have a copy of Abraham-Hicks' Ask and It Is Given that I frequently thumb through whenever I am feeling down and/or unmotivated. It really helps give me a much needed perspective.
i've just read two really awesome books.

Plainclothes Naked by Jerry Stahl (who also wrote Perv-A Love Story) which was hilarious. this book actually embarrased me a few times for laughing out loud in public. amazing fiction story and truely sarcastically witty.

Ishmael by Daniel Quinn which i have found out most people read in high school. i dont think i would have understood it fully then but it has made me question the way humans interact with... everything. this is really a thinking book, which personally i love.
