Reasons to not wear nylons? There are many IMO. From runs and snags to peep toes and pedicures. Photos can be retouched but what about live events where you can't hide behind a great Photoshop job? Pantyhose alternatives? Perhaps.

There's a product out there called Airbrush Legs by Sally Hansen, seems you can get it from most pharmacies (Walgreens.com, $13.79) and mass market retailers like WalMart.

Have any of you ladies used this product or a similar one? If so, what do you find are the pros and cons to using it as opposed to just wearing stockings or hose?

I'm curious to try it, but only if none of you have had any major malfunctions with it. I'm a chicken, yep. I'm a tad worried it's just a clever way to market yet another form of spray tan. Thoughts?

That is VERY interesting, i hope there are some ladies out there that have tried this!

I stared at it at target and thought! HEY thats so cool! but thought the same thing.

Heres a Video review.

She sorta looks like snooki, and wow she needs to get her nails done.

I haven't tried it but I used to work in a store that sold it and it was ridicolously popular with the customers attending weddings etc in the Summer. I've never heard anything but positive comments about it.

havnt tried it, im always weary of fake tan products because of all of the complaints about them
I bought it in the two lightest shades for a summer wedding. I couldn't use it because it was way, way, way too dark on my legs.
I once had a model that insisted on using it for photoshoots instead of nylons, and she always had to have extensive retouching done on her legs. I am not a fan. It does not look good in photos.
Ha!  She totally looks like a Snooki Jr.!  IMO, it seems easier to put on stockings!

Ok Roxy......I cracked and I bought one lol ...I bought the medium tan one and it's like a spray on foundation. Lucky for me it have a weird skin tone so it blended well. Then again I was indoors under fluorescent light....I haven't checked what it looks like under regular light. Hopefully i have time during the weekend to got it a whirl....I'll let yea know

I work as a dancer and a whole lot of our girls use it...It's ok as long as it matches your skin tone and you don't get sweaty.  It will run under hot lights.    In my opinion it's much better  to wear stockings or hose.  But report back...I am afraid to use it too.

Girl, I was just thinking the same thing! It looks easier to just slip on some nylons!!!

I agree about it looking easier to just wear nylons, but what about the days when it's over 100 degrees out? Nylons... no thanks!! Although, if it's that hot, you might just sweat the make up off. My biggest reason for wanting to try this stuff would be when I'm wearing open toed shoes or sandals, no way I'm wearing stockings then.

I have used it a couple of times. It is basically like spray foundation... makeup for your legs. It works ok. You have to be careful about buying the right shade. I never spray it directly on my legs. I make sure and moisturize really well first (just like your face foundation doesn't look good on dry skin) and actually spray it into my hand an apply that way. Blend VERY well. Even use a makeup sponge in spots, if necessary. I would also apply while naked and let dry/set awhile before dressing.

It's a pretty good product as long as you don't expect drastic results. It really needs to be used as just a light "touch up" sorta product.

Hope that's a wee bit helpful.
