Hey there! I just joined and I am adding some photos! Please come check me out and add me as a fan if you like! Leave me a comment on what you think!!! I hope to hear from you soon, thank you!
Are you still planing on attending the BBQ tomorrow? If so, be sure to find us to hang out. There's a thread in the CA forum if toy wanna check it out. Hope to meet you!
Something tells me that the silver lame' jumpsuits are gonna look better on you than me! The Moonbase operatives in Gerry Anderson's 'UFO' (complete with purple bob wig) looked pretty striking! So much so, that I have a recently-issued collectors doll of one on display in my lounge! Oh and she speaks lines of 'thrilling' dialogue from the show when a button is pressed in the base of the figure! Wanna come over and play with my toys? Hee hee.
I remember that there were more closed minds back in the 70s. Instead of enjoying the prospect of different sci-fi on television, diehard trek fans couldnt stand anything that stomped on their territory. Nothing could damage my affection for both shows but not everyone shared that view. The furniture used on Space 1999 was either Italian or Swedish designer pieces and now highly sought after. I saw a website once that was devoted to a lady who had basically recreated Moonbase Alpha in her home. I was very jealous! Just you knowing about the Eagles wins you automatic place in my circle of nerd friends. Mmm Glamour Nerd works! x
Mighty Boosh, now that is really off the dial! I will never be able to erase the 'eel' song from my memory! That show is really cult viewing but delicious fun. You've really got a taste for British tv. I must admit to being an Alphan. I am a huge fan of the first season of Space 1999. The set design was beautiful.
Hello Supreme Commander. Well I am not bashful about showing my stuff! I really adore old pulp covers esp Spicey Detective, they were so creative in finding ways to avoid the strict censorship laws of the time. I have had a Hitchcock 'blondes in peril' idea floating around for a while but finding a Brit model with the right 'acting' abilities is a challenge. The current fashion for gloomy looks seems to have robbed many of any sparkle. You seem to have a very British sense of humour. Have you seen any of the Catherine Tate Dr Who episodes? She was glorious as his assistant. x
Hey hun,
