Hi how are you doing? Haven't talked to you lately
I'm so glad to hear your shoot went well!! I definitely can't wait to see the pics, and I'll send you a FR on MySpace :D yay!
Scheduling shoots I think is really the trick. Schedule often and network with different photographers. Professional photographers can sometimes have great connections and ideas to get you where you want to be. :)
It's actually really rare that a makeup artist or hair stylist is involved with my shoots. I have done my own hair and makeup for all of my pin up shoots... and I kind of like it that way. I guess I'm a bit of a control freak when it comes to knowing how I want to look in my photos lol! As well, it's even more rare that a photographer will have wardrobe. There are a couple photographers that have actually taken me shopping and bought me clothes ... that was *nice* lol!
So, how's your week going so far? Any exciting plans coming up?? :D
*sorry i took long to reply
lol
well i hope everything goes well for the photshoot and your trip in LA.=)
well ive been good im just trying to find a photoshoot and so i could on a portfolio already grrr
and been doing skool work
I hope you pursue it!! Especially being in California -- you can probably find a huge market for the type of stuff you want to get into!
Do what you're doing! Keep taking pics and experimenting with different looks, different photographers.. maybe even re-create some published photos you like! That always helped me when I was learning how to pose.
Definitely be careful with the kinds of agencies or online things you get involved with. I've heard of some incidents where agencies or companies can give you a really low buy-out price, meaning they keep your photo to use how they want for *life* and they give you a one-time check, no royalties..
Do you have any shoots coming up soon?? :D
tht sux. i like your appearance. i kno wht it's like, i get criticized 4 tight zebra pants nd striped leggings lol. it's goin ok 4 me i suppose, just lots of confusion.
