just to let you know i'll be working on a trade for these pinups... like: photoshoot for something cool ( ie: pinsriped goodies, purses, skullies, tiki, rockabilly, pinup) so i will do the shoot for free, BUT i want a traded something for it!

.. i will be in the area for a week, and i have a strick schedual while i'm down there... but i'm probally not going to get it till closer to the date!!! i will be in the chico/redding area, and would be happy to meet you there... do you have a hotrod, or a BF with a rod, you could crusie over in, or do you have a different theme in mind?

omg.. i dont know wherethat is! i'm going to milville, with is around (i'm told) chico and redding.... can you transport to one of those areas?

Hello Ashley. The previous post pretty much sum it up.Contact with photographers, other models, and research. Looking at tons of pictures to start and try to pose in the style your looking for. Practice , practice, practice...do in front of a mirror so you see what your doing.

I would get a good portfolio started. Do some typical pin up shoots but also think of some original things to. Build some good working relationships with other pinups and photographers. And post pictures. Modelmayhem.com and PL are good places to start.

Hi sweetheart...well research is the key...look up all you can and start emulating it.Start booking shoots with pinup photographers.That helps alot...ask some of the better established pinup models...
But really start getting clothes...hair accessories..pick the type of hairstyle you like the most...and run with it.Its not totally hard to become one.Its also a networking thing...
Shoot with as many people as u can.Hit the conventions..promote yourself.Get a good portfolio built..after you have a good enough port then set your rates.when you are first starting out people wont pay u.Get in touch with some clothing companies...audition for model calls..etc... you can also net work on modelmayhem.com and myspace.com and of course this fabulous place..
