Cool cool. A buddy of mine tried recording his tracks separately in a closet one at a time. More time consuming, a little more difficult (gotta use a blinking metronome or have a homey playing with you outside the door) but brings up the sound quality and eliminates some of the white noise. You may also try Audacity.. not a professional rig by any means, but something a cat can download to her personal pc to try to tweak what he can.

Let me know if you get any gigs, I'm in modesto so maybe I could arrange to come check it out.
