Dropping in to say a quick hello!

Hey! I've been so busy with work that I rarely get a chance to send comments to my friends, who I miss terribly! So here is a blanket comment update. I did a photoshoot last week, and I'm waiting for the edits so I can post them here on PL. I can't wait! I love them! Going on a ride with my husband's car club this Saturday to Palm Springs and celebrating my birthday at Bar Sinister next Saturday. If you're in the SoCal area and you'd like to join us for my birthday, drop me a comment/message and I'll get you the information! It would be great to celebrate with you. The wife paints. Oil, acrylics, water color. Some really vivid and amazing work. She has a nude right now I would love to buy. One of the things I hate about the modern world is the lack of art in the sense of all of the wonderful painters and things of the past. Not to put down any modern painters, there just seemd to be less of an appreciation for it these days and I still think it's an amazing medium.

He sells some sometimes, on ebay I think. Let me see if I can find his listings .. (goes to surf for them ... be right back) Hmmm I can't find it searching the web. I know he has a page. I'll ask him tomorrow!!

There's a page for the building that I really ought to know the address for since I am on it, but I don't. He's also got his own ebay and page and I believe he has a book or two. I'll find out!!

Artsy guys in dark rooms are hot, seriously. You could get in trouble in there too.

My studio is in this old falling down building owned by this 80 year old jewish man and his much younger wife. She's an artist. He's a photographer with work of his own literally from wwII and nazi germany. I walked in and the walls were plastered with his work from those times. The women were amazing, hell all of it was. My space is cheap and it gets cold in the winter but I was sold when he opened a door and smiled at me and said "We have our own dark room, you can use it." I'm a fan. Digital is wonderful for work, but art, baby that's film. Wonderful shot of you on your profile.
