I am woefully addicted to Food Network's "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives", even though I loathe the host. It's 26 minutes of wish fulfillment by proxy. I really really want to know how they do it!? The hours, the speed, the portion sizes, the prices. And usually with a small staff and even smaller kitchen. How? HOW? These are the questions that keep me awake at night. You know, the serious stuff.

Yes, I'm a little afraid to go there, but at the same time I've always been insatiably curious! Maybe I should cut out the middle man, open a tiki bar here and have an excuse to go crazy with the buying :)

I do use the same name on there too... But I'm not on it very often either. A lot of the people I've met at the London Luau put stuff up on there and it's nice to stay in touch. But it's all a bit depressing if you live in London... All of the Tiki bars here are very expensive and haunted by Royals and Celeb types. No room for the lover of the Tiki then, especially since I've usually spent all of my money on some glorious little mug or totem! We need some nice little tiki bars too!
