You want this dress!

Ohhhhhhhhh I forgot to tell you. I found this dress today, you want it. I can't wear it. I'll come back to it, one second.

I am a clothes whore, so you know. Like whore is not even the word for my relationship with clothes. And shoes too. boots? yeah. corsets, christ on a cracker. I am like ... bad. Previously in my loft I had a walk in closet the size of a bedroom. It was actually a closet (moves cat's tail off the keyboard for like the millionth time tonight. She's insisting on lying right on the edge of my desk with her back to me. If she can't see me I can't see her right? Except she wants my attention. She knows I'm typing so she's being cute and slapping her tail down on the keyboard. I swear this cat is more of a Princess than I am! I digress where was I ...)

Oh yes it was actually a closet, not a bedroom I seduced into being a closet. The bedroom sized closet was so big it had its own closet inside. Someone who crashed at my (moves tail again) pad for awhile (again) actually made a bedroom out of the smaller closet within a closet (again), but that's another story. (gets clawed for moving tail yet again) I'm really distractable right now aren't I?

Anyway clothes whore! Lots of clothes.

Not only do I love clothes but I have a huge love of classic styles. I LOVE vintage fashion. Not to put down anyone's look but a lot of the things girls wear today are so trashy! Feminine is sexy. You do not have to wear butt floss and hardly anything on top to be attractive. Certainly if you're looking for one kind of attraction only I suppose or you just don't care and it's your thing, but that was never my style.

I really like strong, feminine women. Women with real moxie (gee wonder why I picked that name). I guess it's why I love fashion from the 40's and 50's. Sexy but not slutty, the kind of thing that hugs your curves and is well made well (vintage clothes are made so much better than a lot of things today in my opinion.) I personally think if you put any one of our retro couture dressed gals up against a blonde britney look-alike the boys will go for pinup glam any day. There's something powerfully seductive and mysteriously sexy about a girl who dresses this way. Because of that I have never been a shopping mall kind of gal. I am always hunting in thrift shops and side stores and any out of the way place I can find that might have something special.

I found it today, oh boy. An incredible dress. I was pretty sure it wouldn't fit me and I was right but I still had to buy it. It was SO good I just couldn't leave it there. It's classic pinup. The shape, the ruffles, the polka dots, the color, the cut. I'm going to put it on ebay I think. I'll take pics of it tomorrow so you can see how fantastic it is. I *might* save it for someone to wear in a photoshoot but once you see it you're going to be like nuh uh Moxie that is my dress shut up. I'm serious, it's that good. I squealed like a girl when I saw it. The whole store turned around. I really wish I could wear it. It's just the kind of dress I love love love. It's one of those perfectly cut dresses to that makes you look va va va voom while down playing any flaws you might have in your figure (not that you do, you are flawless darling) it's the kind of dress that was made to make you look good in every way. If you end up with it you have to take pictures of yourself in it and send them to me, ok?

Remind me and I'll show you tomorrow. I'd do it now but as you know I f***** off all day and I have to HAVE TO finish this website now =) haha.

Oh let me go see who made it though ... I didn't check that a sec. (runs off) It's Jeffrey and Dara by Elizabeth Hutton and Associates in a size 14. It looks like it's made a little small though. I'll measure it too when I take photos. Just holding it up again made me oooh and ahhhh. I am so jealous. My fat behind needs to be able to fit into this dress. (Tells this to the chocolate chippy thingy from Christmas sitting on the desk) I am seriously going to kill my cat. (thwaps tail) See you tomorrow! Er ... later today. Tonight?
